The City of
Ocoee Family Aquatic Center
will be open for the 2008 season on
Saturday, May 3rd from 12:00 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Daily cost for youth and seniors open swim is $0.75, and adults
$1.25.
Seasonal passes for youth and seniors is $20.00, and adults
$25.00.
The City of Ocoee Family Aquatic Center will be offering swimming
lessons, water aerobics and a swim league this summer. Swimming
Lesson Registration will start on May 17th for City Residents and
May 24th for Non-City Residents. the cost is $40.00 per session.
Each session consists of eight 30 minute lessons. Morning and
evening lessons will be offered.

The Charter Review Commission
for the City of Ocoee has been formed to review the City Charter and
make recommendations to the City Commission for language that needs
to be added, deleted, or revised.
They held their first meeting on April 9, 2008 and the next meetings
will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of City Hall as
follows:

Free CPR Classes
Ocoee Fire Department is offering Friends & Family cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) instruction to Ocoee residents--free of charge.
CPR classes will be held the fourth Wednesday of each month, 7:00
p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Fire Station One, 563 South Bluford Avenue.
