About the Community Relations Division
The Community Relations Division is responsible for administering, organizing, and/or developing community programs and special events. This division is also responsible for television production and produces the city newsletter and other materials that disseminate important information about Ocoee.

Special Events Special events coordinated by the
division include a Memorial Day Program, a Veteran's Day
program, Volunteer
Appreciation Dinner, and the Christmas Dinner for Families in
Need. Community Relations also provides public relations and
marketing support for the City's Martin Luther King Jr. Parade,
Black History Month Essay Contest, Founder's Day Festival, and
Ocoee Spring Fling.PublicationsAnother function of Community Relations is producing
publications. Currently, the division produces the quarterly
City newsletter, News to You, which is mailed to residents.
Community Relations also designs and publishes an annual
12-month calendar. The y community calendar is available
to citizens in December. There are also brochures produced each year on various
topics as well as an Ocoee brochure which was created to
showcase our City's neighborhoods and businesses, highlight
Ocoee's history, and promote the City's annual events. All of

Most Valuable Partnership GrantA program established to
allow neighborhoods and community organizations to obtain City
grants to accomplish projects, which are important and unique to
the different areas of the City where they are located. For more

Community Grant ProgramA program designed to allow the City to foster community
partnerships. Grants are awarded quarterly to assist
non-profit organizations which serve Ocoee residents. You can find

Ocoee TV Ch. 200 Bright House CableThe Community Relations Division oversees the coordination of
the City's television station which includes live meeting
coverage and daily programming. You can find more information on
