CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION

The Charter Review Commission has been formed to review the City Charter and make recommendations to the City Commission for language that needs to be added, deleted, or revised.

OBJECTIVES

The Charter Review Commission meets every 10 years to review the City Charter for any amendments which may need to be made. They can only make a recommendation to the City Commission, who can then approve the amendments to be placed on a ballot for voters. The board consists of five members who were each appointed by a member of Commission.
