It is the procedure of the City of Ocoee that
all municipal records, with the exception of
exempted records identified by
Florida Statutes, 119.07 or other applicable
section of Florida Statutes, shall be open for
personal inspection by any person.

To request copies of public records of the City
of Ocoee (that are unavailable from the
website), please contact the Ocoee City Clerk's
Office at (407) 905-3105 or via email to
ccdl@ci.ocoee.fl.us.
On October 1, 1991, the Ocoee City Commission,
in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter
119, adopted Resolution No. 91-21 regarding
requests for public records of the City. |

Resolution No. 91-21 provides the following:
Public Records are open to the general public to
be inspected and examined by any person desiring
to do so, at any reasonable time, under
reasonable conditions, and under supervision of
the custodian of the records or his or her
designee. The Department shall furnish
photocopies of public records upon payment of
charges within a reasonable time on a
first-come-first-serve basis. Photocopying of
public records is on a cash and carry basis and
personal check will be accepted.
"Extensive" shall mean use of information
technology resources in excess of 15 minutes, or
clerical or supervisory assistance in excess of
20 minutes.
Full payment must be made prior to the release
of the document (s) to the requestor.
The charges established herein do not apply to
preprinted or prepriced documents which have
established fee schedules approved by the City,
including, but not limited to the City Code, the
Land Development Regulations, maps and aerial
photographs.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or
phrase or portion of this Resolution is for any
reason held unconstitutional or invalid by any
court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and
independent provision and such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion
hereto.

Payments to the City of Ocoee must be made by
cash, check or money order. At this time credit cards are not
accepted as payment for copies of public
records.

Upon request, the City will furnish copies of
public records based on the following fee
schedule:
Single-sided copies, up to 8 " x 14" - .15 each
Double-sided copies, up to 8 " x 14" - .20 each
Color copies, up to 8 " x 14" - .20 each
Larger size copies, based on actual cost of
duplication
Certified copy of a public record - $1.00 in
addition to actual copy cost
Duplicate of video tape - $1.50
Duplicate of DVD - $1.50
Note: Additional charges will be added to cover
the cost of postage and a $2.50 handling fee, as
necessary.
