MISSION STATEMENT

To develop, maintain, and implement
a comprehensive plan and the related
regulations and provide for public
involvement and information in a
timely and customer-friendly manner
and to improve the construction
environment in order to provide
public safety, health, and general
welfare for the citizens of Ocoee
and the general public. The
Development Services Department
is responsible for coordinating
growth management and building
activity within the City. Located
at Ocoee City Hall,
150 North Lakeshore Drive. |

The Development Services Department’s goal under Director
Craig Shadrix's direction, is to improve the built environment in order to provide public safety,
health and general welfare for our residents and the general public. This is accomplished through comprehensive
long-range planning, extensive site and subdivision development reviews, and inspections of new and existing buildings.
The Department is also looking at ways to streamline the permit approval process and expand our information database
to improve the system for our customers.
