LOCAL BUSINESS TAX
If you are a new business planning to operate in the City of Ocoee, you must file an application for a Local Business Tax before operating. To ensure that the business is legal and the location is safe for public use, a four-step review process is conducted before payment and issuance of the LBT Receipt:
  1. Application Process
  2. Review Zoning (Commercial Business Only)

    • Provide Site Plan
  3. Inspect Building (Commercial Business Only)

    • Building Division Inspection/Approval
    • Fire Department Inspection/Approval
    • Engineering/Utility Department Inspection/Approval
  4. Site Review (Commercial Business Only)
Please print and sign the application; and, then have your signature notarized. If you are unable to contact a notary, please bring your unsigned application to City Hall to be notarized by the Building Division Staff.
Please bring or mail the original notarized application along with a check for the appropriate fee payable to: City of Ocoee.
