What is the Community Redevelopment Agency? The Ocoee Community Redevelopment Agency, also known as the Ocoee CRA, is a special district that was established on April 18, 2006 by the City Commission to assist in the revitalization along the State Road 50 corridor and other major roads. The Ocoee CRA focuses on redevelopment projects and supports economic revitalization through various infrastructure improvements and other projects. The Ocoee CRA has the ability to provide vision and funding to help revitalize the Ocoee community through the creation of jobs; beautification efforts; new commercial, retail, and housing options; and re-development. The purpose is to improve the quality of life in Ocoee by providing lifestyle choices for residents and business owners while appropriately managing growth.
