SERVICES DIRECTOR CRAIG A SHADRIX |
As Director of Development Services, Craig
Shadrix provides direction and oversight for
several functional workgroups, including the
Building Division, the Planning Division,
Engineering Development Review, and the
Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).
Craig has worked for the City of Ocoee for two
years, having come to the City from one of
Florida’s most respected planning firms. Craig
has a B.S. from Harding University and has been
published in both planning and environmental
science works.
Craig has over 17 years of experience in
environmental science, community
planning/design, policy planning, and business
process evaluation. Craig has managed numerous
projects throughout Florida resulting in policy
plans, special area plans, comprehensive plans,
and land development regulations, many of which
have won awards. Craig has also led business
process re-engineering efforts and automation
projects in efforts to streamline government and
make it more efficient. Currently, Craig is
leading a departmental effort to automate work
processes, making services available on-line and
saving customers time and money. This
initiative is expected to be complete by June
2010.
