The Five Year Capital Improvement Program is a plan for
Capital Purchases (those items costing $1,500 or more),
Capital Replacements, and Capital Leases based upon
proposed work plans and necessary projects. It
represents the projected needs from which a budget can
be developed.
The Comprehensive Annual
Financial Report (CAFR) is a culmination of financial
data encompassing twenty-nine different funds. The CAFR
represents the official report of the Citys financial
operations and condition for the October 1 through
September 30 fiscal year. A Certificate of Achievement
for Excellence in Financial Reporting is awarded by the
Government Finance Officers Association to governmental
units whose CAFR achieves the highest standards in
government accounting and financial reporting. The City
has been a recipient of the award for 19 consecutive
years.
