About Us
Mission Statement
The mission of the Ocoee Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of residents, business owners, their employees, and the people visiting Ocoee. The department strives to provide the highest levels of service in fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention and public education and mitigation of the effects of natural and manmade disasters.
Advisory Board
The Citizen Advisory Council for the Ocoee Fire Department (CACOFD) meets the second Thursday each month at 7:00 PM.  The board has between 15 and 25 members, with each serving a 3-year term.  Membership is open to Ocoee residents, owners of real property in Ocoee, and owners of businesses located in Ocoee.
Services Provided
The City of Ocoee Fire Department provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency medical service, rescue and fire suppression within the City, as well as contract service to the town of Windermere. Other responsibilities include plans review for new construction, fire prevention inspections of businesses within the City, fire code enforcement, and emergency management functions. The Fire Department is very active in the community by providing fire prevention education to school age children. The department operates from three fire stations strategically located throughout the City to provide maximum response in minimum time. The Emergency Operations Center is located in the Fire Station 25 facility.

Collective Bargaining Agreement
The City of Ocoee has a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for certain Fire department staff.
