Fire Marshal |
Butch has served for the past 5 years as Fire Inspector for the Ocoee Fire
Department and was appointed as the Fire Marshal in October
2004 and was promoted to Fire Marshal Division Chief in September 2006.
Butch is currently pursuing a degree in Fire
Science and recently completed the
Professional Development Series in Emergency
Management from the National Fire Academy.
He is a member of the Central Florida Fire
Chiefs Association, Central Florida Fire
Marshals and Inspectors Association, Florida
Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association,
and the Children's Burn Foundation of
Florida, Inc.
Prior to
coming to Ocoee in 1999, Butch spent 15 years with the
Casselberry Fire Department as a Lieutenant and spent four years with the Altamonte Springs
Fire Department as an Engineer.
Butch began his fire service career in 1980 with the Pine Hills Fire Department.
For relaxation Butch enjoys
playing golf and enters various city
sponsored tournaments to help various
organizations in need. He is a member of
the Citizen's Advisory Council to the Ocoee Fire
Department (CACOFD).Butch
