Programs offered at the Jim Beech Center
Before & After School Programs
This program is offered to city residents when grade school is session. Parents can drop off there child/children after 6:30am and pick them up by 6:30pm. Transportation is provided to and from school. Games, arts & crafts, and school homework are just some of the activities the children will enjoy during this program.
Summer Camp
This seasonal program is offered to city residents during the summer months when school is not in session. With a wide range of activities such as sports, arts & crafts, swimming, field trips and movies, this program offers children the chance to stay active and enjoy their summer in a camp environment. Gatorland, Bowling, and Wet-n-Wild are just a couple of the great field trips scheduled during summer camp. The Camp is open Monday - Friday, from 6:30am - 6:30pm.
Youth Basketball Leagues
The 2010 season of Youth Basketball will start in January and run through April for participants ages 6 - 16. The league will consist of a 7 game schedule and 2 game playoff tournament officiated by certified referees. Participants will receive team jerseys, trophies for first, second, third and fourth place finishers, and participation medals for all other finishers. The tournament champions will receive special T-shirts. In addition participants are entitled to one practice day a week at the Jim Beech Recreation Center. The City of Ocoee is also seeking volunteer parent coaches for each team. Adult Basketball Leagues
The Jim Beech Recreation Center hosts Adult Basketball Leagues on Wednesday (Competitive) and Thursday (Recreation) nights. Games are played at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on both nights. Certified referees from FBVA officiate all 8 weeks of regular season games, plus a 2-week tournament. The top three regular season teams all receive trophies with the tournament winner receiving a championship trophy, plus t-shirts. Leagues are held in the Fall and Spring at a cost of $360 per team per season. For more information contact Mark Rollins at 407-905-3180 ext. 5007.
 Family Aquatic Center
Open from May through October for everyone to enjoy fun in the sun during the summer months. Learn how to swim, try our water aerobics class, enjoy a movie by the pool, or come for a mid-day swim. Hours may vary.
Movie's by the Pool
From June till August family movies are featured under the stars once per month. All movies are shown on Friday nights. Food and drinks are for sale.
Fitness Room
This facility is open year-round to City of Ocoee Residents and consists of cardiovascular machines and free weight equipment. The facility is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00am to 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to 6:00pm.  Fees: $40.00 Annual Pass or $5.00 Monthly Pass.
Open Gym Basketball
This program runs year-round and is organized by designated nights for specific age groups. Monday evenings are for participants 18 and older, Wednesday evenings are for All Ages, Thursday and Saturday are for participants of all ages. Participants may shoot baskets, play half court games or play full court basketball.
Open Gym Volleyball Leagues
This program is offered year-round with Tuesday Night as the designated night for this program. It is open to Adults 18 and older, and runs from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. This program offers the community a great way to have fun and exercise at one time.

Line Dancing:

Square Dancing:
Have fun learning Modern Square Dancing.
Classes are held on Thursday nights from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

Adult Softball Leagues:
Games are played at Vignetti Fields located at 1910 Adair St. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday night features Men's E, Tuesday night is Men's D and Thursday night is Co-Ed. Each season consists of a 10 game schedule with all games governed by ISA rules. Dance, Act or Model:
Let's Dance, Act or Model! Orlando Broadway Arts is now offering classes at the Vignetti Center located at 1910 Adair St. Miss Catt is the inventor of Cardio Tap! Girls ... Guys ... Ages 3 to Teens and Adults. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!! For more information, contact "Miss Catt" at 407-399-8045.
Karate:
(Isshinryu Budo-Kai) - Fulfill that new years resolution by developing strength, coordination and your confidence with Karate lessons! Sensei Paul Robinson has been instructing and motivating individuals for more than twenty-five years. Classes meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30 PM at the Vignetti Recreation Center located at 1910 Adair St. Ages six and up welcome. West Orange Senior Club:
Come join the West Orange Seniors every Monday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm and Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:00am -4:00pm for Bingo, Card Playing, Crafts and every third Thursday of each month at 12:00pm for a pot-luck dinner. For more information please contact Wendell Singrey at 407-592-4498
