Annual Easter Eggstranvaganza
The City of Ocoee Parks and
Recreation Division will hold their
Annual Easter Event in April 2012 (date
to be announced) at the Jim Beech Recreation Center
located at 1820 A. D. Mims Road. This
will be a fun-filled event with exciting
activities: bounce on the bounce houses,
get your face painted or get a
balloon animal from a clown and don't
forget
the traditional Easter Egg Hunt.
Children 12 years old and younger
scramble for over 10,000 Easter Eggs
filled with candy, prizes and much more!
The children will also have the opportunity
to meet the Easter Bunny.

City of Ocoee Winter Wonderland
The City of Ocoee’s Parks and Recreation
Department had it's annual Santa's Winter
Wonderland on December 10, 2011 at the Jim Beech
Recreation Center, located at 1820 A.D. Mims
Road. The children were able to visit Santa's
Cafe and Santa's Gift Shop. There were
door prizes and fun for everyone. Admission to
the Winter Wonderland is free but everyone is
encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for
the West Orange Christian Service Center, which
will be used for families in need during the
holiday season. The information for the
2012 event will be posted as soon as available.

BIG ORANGE GAMES
The Big Orange Games are
Track and Field Events for the
Physically Challenged and Autistic
ranging in events from the softball
throw to the 100 yard dash. We will
announce the 2012 date as soon as it
is available.

Haunted House Halloween Event
The City of Ocoee’s Parks and Recreation Department held
its 4th. annual Haunted House event from October 26th -
28th. It was located at 951 Ocoee-Apopka
Road. This year we spooked well over 3000 guests that attended
our three night event. There were games, prizes, bounce
houses, a hay ride and a haunted walk for family
and friends as well as the Haunted
House. We would like to thank everyone that donated the non-perishable
food items for the West Orange Christian Service Center.
