SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS

Schools are simply an extension of the overall community. Crime that affects the community has an impact on schools, while offenses occurring on school property also affect the community. The presence of law enforcement officers within the school community provides for a consistent approach to community public safety across settings. The School Resource Officers (SRO) are specially trained officers who are assigned to work in the schools.

Here are our SRO assignments for the current school year:

Ocoee High School:

- Officer Carrie Wofford

Ocoee Middle School:
- Officer Jeff Dyer

Drug Abuse Resistance Education or DARE: this program is taught at all elementary schools
