Human Relations Diversity Board Meeting

Objective to promote understanding, respect, goodwill, and equality among all citizens and businesses of the City of Ocoee.

HRDB Meetings
The Human Relations Diversity meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month and start at 6:15 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, the meeting is closed to the public. However, we want to hear from you!

  • Citizens are encouraged to offer comments and ask questions during the meeting by emailing citizens@ocoee.org or calling 407-554-7118.
  • You may also register in advance by emailing citizens@ocoee.org or calling 407-905-3105 and city staff will call you during the meeting. 
  • The meeting will be broadcast live on Ocoee TV Spectrum Channel 493 with a live stream at https://www.ocoee.org/OcoeeTV.
  • The meeting can be viewed later on our Archived video page on the city’s YouTube channel.

Objectives

The Human Relations Diversity Board's objective is to promote understanding, respect, goodwill, and equality among all citizens and businesses of the City of Ocoee. The HRDB sponsors the city’s Black History Month Essay Contest and the Celebrating Diversity Art Contest.

Members

The Board consists of 7 to 13 voting members who serve for a three-year term and may be reappointed as stated in Resolution 2016-009 (PDF). Residence in the city limits is not required for appointment. The Board also includes two non-voting members, who are typically the Community Relations Manager and a city commissioner. Applications for committee membership may be acquired online (PDF) or in person from the City Clerk.
