Country music star Gary Allan will headline the City of Ocoee’s 22nd Annual Founders’ Day Festival to be held on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14, 2015.
The free two-day event will take place at Bill Breeze Park, 125 North Lakeshore Drive. On November 13, the festival will run 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. On November 14, the festival hours are 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Gary Allan takes the stage on Saturday. He has produced 26 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including four Number Ones: "Man to Man", "Tough Little Boys" (both 2003), "Nothing On but the Radio" (2004), and "Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)" (2013). Jon Pardi, Brothers Osbourne and Southern Brotherz will also play on Saturday.
On Friday, .38 Special will kick off the concerts. Known for their diverse style in music, .38 Special has been making southern rock music since 1975. The music group is a crowd favorite combining country with a touch of blues. Other musical guests include Asleep at the Wheel and Spayed Koolie.
While listening to great music, families can also enjoy carnival rides, a spectacular fireworks show, games, food vendors, arts ‘n crafts at the Marketplace, tours of the historic Withers-Maguire House, family fishing tournament, classic car show and the Chick-fil-A 5k and Kids Fun Run benefitting the Ocoee Lions Club.
