The City of Ocoee and the Ocoee Lions Club will present its 35th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of entry fees, parade participants are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys that will be donated to the Ocoee Police Department’s Toys for Kids in Need. Over the past three decades, parade participants have donated more than 15,000 toys.

Parade registration forms are available at www.ocoeelionsclub.org. The deadline for registration forms is November 30.

Several hundred people will line the streets to see festive floats, marching bands, motorcycles, fire trucks, Santa Claus and more. A parade contest for floats, vehicles and walkers will be held. Judges will score participants in the following categories: Youth, Commercial, Non-Commercial, Churches and Judges Overall Winner. The Ocoee Lions Club will present the winners with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies at the Ocoee City Commission meeting on December 15 at 6:45 p.m.

Orange TV will record the parade to be broadcast at a later date on Bright House Networks channels 488 (Orange TV), and 493 (Ocoee TV).

The Christmas Parade will start at the intersection of Maguire Road and Enterprise Street, and end at Bill Breeze Park, 125 North Lakeshore Drive. If it rains, the parade will be held on Sunday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m.
