You’re invited to the City of Ocoee Human Relations Diversity Board’s 11th Annual Black History Month Essay Awards Ceremony to be held on Thursday,February 26 at 7:00p.m, Ocoee City Hall, 150 North Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee, FL 34761. First-Place Winners are asked to recite their winning essay at the awards ceremony.Honorable Mentions will be presented with Certificates of Merit.
The awards ceremony will be televised on Ocoee TV Channel 200, Bright House Networks. As many of you know, this is a wonderful event that brings together educators, elected officials, family and friends to celebrate and honor our aspiring young writers.
